NBA All star game is unwatchable - by Orr Shalom

It used to be fun to watch the all time NBA greats compete with one another during the all star game, each player  giving its all for pride and honor due to their competitive nature. Now, the all star game has turned Into a joke. The fans pay money to see competition. During the 2017 All star game, players had no interest in playing defense. The competition was at an all time low. However, there were a lot of smiles and laughs, but the fans are here to watch a close, competitive game. We are fortunate enough to have an era of incredible basketball players such as Lebron James, Kevin Durant, Steph Curry, Paul George, James Harden, and others. We understand that players don't want to get injured, but minimal competition and effort is all the fans want to see. A change must happen, and fast, before fans start losing interest in the all star game.

    I agree with you 100% this is something that has been bugging me for a while, I feel that the sport has completely lost the competitive aspect of it during the season. I actually made a point not to go to any games during the season as I feel like the players really don't care about anything. They go on the court with no spirit or emotion.

    Totally agree with, The 2017 allstar game was just awful to watch! The same thing is true if not worse for the baseball all star game. I mean these guys are playing worried about their huge contracts, James harden just signed an insane 224 million contract! I think if they want to start making the all star game more entertaining they should put more incentives ether in money or playoff bonuses for each respective conference.
