Internet - The digital revolution that changed the world

The internet has changed the way we approach life. Old media, such as newspapers and traditional books have become outdated by new innovations in the new media, such as online newspapers and digital books. The internet gives us access to information at an instant. A few more examples of new media inventions are emailing and video conferencing. This changed the way we do business and interact on a personal level in our day to day lives. You can send your colleague or friend information in a matter of seconds. Dead are the days where we had to meet in person. We can now interact and see one another through our electronic devices because of applications such as Skype, FaceTime, and many more. The internet gives you an opportunity to advertise, reach wide markets and research your customers and competition. Another positive aspect of the internet include entertainment. Websites such as Netflix give you access to shows and movies. There are also endless amount of games, books and software available for an individual to use right away. The way we entertain ourselves has
shifted. Some cons regarding the internet include access to illegal activity, dependency on the internet, personal information becoming compromised, and vulnerability of children being exposed. The world is evolving at a very fast pace, and the internet is the main reason for this.

As you see above, my approach will be to talk about the pros and cons of the internet, while also mentioning how it affects people, as individuals, businesses, and society in a positive and negative way.

    I think you made some really strong points, I also think that the era we are living in will be as important the industrial revolution. We are witnessing the world changing right in front of our eyes.
